Samsung updates Good Lock’s One Hand Operation+ with One UI 3.0 support

Samsung has released an update for its One Hand Operation+ module for Good Lock. The biggest change is the addition of One UI 3.0 support – good news for the One UI 3.0 beta testers. This version (3.7.23.0) also features some bug fixes for specific devices, one targeting the Galaxy Z Fold2 and one for the Galaxy Tab S7 (which had an annoying issue with detecting long-swipe gestures).…

Samsung Galaxy S21 spotted at Geekbench – it’s not using the Exynos 1000

Unconfirmed reports claim that the Exynos 1000 will be faster than the Snapdragon 875, but we can’t just assume that this will be the chipset used in the next Galaxy S flagships. Those early reports were based on Geekbench results that were pulled from the database before we could confirm they are legitimate. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 gets eSIM enabled with the latest software update

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 unveiled earlier this month lets you have two different numbers – one through the regular SIM, and another through an eSIM. The eSIM functionality wasn’t available out of the box, but Samsung has now released a new software update to enable it. This new firmware, sporting version number F916BXXU1BTIA and currently seeding in Europe, adds SIM card manager to the Settings menu that lets you use an eSIM on the Galaxy Z Fold2.…

Kuo: iPad Pro will be the first Apple device with mini-LED display

Apple has been working on mini-LED displays for quite some time now and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo now says there are a total of six products in the pipeline ranging from iPads to Macs. He goes on to add that the first device will the new technology will be the iPad Pro. A recent report from Ming-Chi Kuo said that the company will be accelerating the adoption of mini-LED panels because the current testings yield better results than expected, mostly thanks to a new supplier called Sanan Optoelectronics.…
