Infinix Note 11 Pro in for review

The Infinix Note 11 Pro was announced earlier today and presto, we have it here at HQ and ready for testing. It comes in a packed retail box with a 33W charger, a cable, a case, a glass screen protector (unapplied), and some leaflets. However the previous model had earbuds as well, while this one hasn’t. Third-party app icons don’t appear on Apple Watch Series 7

The first Apple Watch Series 7 units are already shipped and there appears to be an issue right out of the box. According to some users, third-party apps don’t appear with their icons and instead, they are invisible on the home screen. T-Mobile announces free OnePlus 9 deal when you add a line

T-Mobile has just kicked off a new promotion with two OnePlus smartphones. Starting Friday October 15, new and exiting T-Mobile customers can receive a free OnePlus 9 when adding a line. If opting for the OnePlus 9 Pro, T-Mobile will offer a $730 discount if the following requirements are met. There is no trade-in required, but it does require the customer to add a line and switch to a Magenta Max plan.…

EU denies Apple allegations that moving to USB-C will stifle innovation

The EU is serious about making device manufacturers use USB-C as a standard charging port and it obviously won’t be much of an issue for Android makers as the USB-C connector is virtually universally adopted there. Apple, however, has more to lose and has argued that a move to a common charging port will stifle innovation. Canalys: Samsung shipped the most phones in Q3, but chip shortage caused market decline

Smartphone shipments during the July-September period fell by 6% compared to the same time last year according to the latest preliminary data from Canalys. Component shortages amidst the ongoing global chipset shortage are the main culprits here and according to some estimates, it will take at least another year before supply and demand balance out. Samsung is once again at the top of the polls with 23% of all shipments for the period.…

Google Search for mobile gains continuous scroll in search results

Google is doing a gradual rollout of its continuous scroll feature for most English searches on mobile in the U.S. The feature allows users to view up to four pages of results in Google Search before they reach a “See more” button.
